The\npractice of direct action can allow groups to respond to current att acks\, can\nserve as a method of agitation\, can be a moment of mobilisati on and can\nultimately help in stopping the de-radicalization and NGO-izat ion of social\nmovements.\n\nA film about the English activist group Pales tine Action\, which accompanies\nfootage of their direct actions from 2020 -2025 with interviews with activists\,\ntheir family members\, supporters\ , journalists and an international lawyer\,\nthereby placing their story i n the context of the effectiveness of documented\nactions and the rich his tory of direct action and protests in England. The\ncreators of the Rainbo w collective accompany the withdrawal of the film\, the\ndistribution and screening of which could be persecuted under the Terrorism Act\n2000\, wit h the following words: "We believe that this is an important film in\nwhic h activists and the public present arguments for why direct action against \ncompanies that commit genocide is morally and legally justified. We also believe\nthat banning of a non-violent protest group is the most worrying example of\nauthoritarian overreach that we have seen in the UK in our li fetime\, not only in\nterms of the right to protest\, but also in terms of the rights of independent\nfilmmakers\, writers\, journalists and artists like us\, who should be able to\nexpress the views and actions of non-vio lent protesters."\n\nThe film viewing is part of the Antiauthoritarian Sum mer School. Ker s e je Palestinska akcija znašla na seznamu terorističnih\norganizacij\,  so oblasti film prepovedale\, predvajanje pa lahko preganjajo po\nprotiteror istični zakonodaji. Ustvarjalci so umik filma pospremili z besedami:\n"Men imo\, da je to pomemben film\, v katerem aktivisti in javnost predstavijo\ nargumente\, zakaj so direktne akcije proti podjetjem\, ki izvajajo genoci d\,\nmoralno in legalno upravičene. Prav tako menimo\, da je prepoved nena silne\nprotestne skupine najbolj zaskrbljujoč primer avtoritarne prekorači tve oblasti\,\nkar smo jih videli v Združenem kraljestvu v času naših živl jenj\, ne le glede\npravice do protesta\, temveč tudi glede pravic neodvis nih filmskih ustvarjalcev\,\npisateljev\, novinarjev in umetnikov\, kot sm o mi\, ki bi morali imeti možnost\nprikazati stališča in dejanja nenasilni h protestnikov."\n\nOgled filma se odvija v okviru Antiavtoritarne poletne šole. A fil m about the English activist group Palestine Action, which accompanies foo tage of their direct actions from 2020-2025 with interviews with activists , their family members, supporters, journalists and an international lawye r, thereby placing their story in the context of the effectiveness of docu mented actions and the rich history of direct action and protests in Engla nd. TO KILL A WAR MACHINE (2025) – o zgodovini in pomenu direktni h akcij (ogled filma in diskusija)

Direktna akcija je skozi zgodovino obveljala kot ena izmed legitimnih metod proti-sistemskih giban j - od sindikalnih do avantgardnih. Kot praksa skupinam omogoča odzivati s e na aktualne napade, služi lahko kot sredstvo za agitacijo in mobilizacij o, v končni fazi pa lahko pomaga zaustavljati de-radikalizacijo in NVO-iza cijo družbenih gibanj.

Film, ki je nastal pod taktirko Rainbow colle ctive, predstavi angleško aktivistično skupino Palestinska akcija (Palesti ne Action), posnetke njenih direktnih akcij iz let med 2020 in 2025 pa pos premi z intervjuji z aktivisti, njihovimi družinskimi člani, podporniki, n ovinarji in mednarodnim odvetnikom. Zgodbo postavi v kontekst bogate zgodo vine direktnih akcij in protestov v Angliji. Ker se je Palestinska akcija znašla na seznamu terorističnih organizacij,  so oblasti film prepove dale, predvajanje pa lahko preganjajo po protiteroristični zakonodaji.
