DIY kabaret: Feminizem ni šala! je cikel kabaretov, ki razpira prostor, kjer nastopajočei ustvarjajo brez cenzure in omejitev klasičnih odrov – kjer je »grdo« lepo, nenormativno zaželeno, »neprivlačno« privlačno. V ospredju so vsebina, želje in užitek, napake pa niso le dovoljene, ampak celo zaželjene. Znotraj serije kabaretov preizprašujemo teme, povezane s spolom in spolno usmerjenostjo, ki so v družbi pogosto prezrte ali potlačene. Hkrati stremimo k ustvarjanju varnega prostora za vse prisotne. 20. jubiljena edicija bo prav posebna. Pričakujete lahko velik nabor skupinskih točk, živo glasbo, artistkee v zraku in na tleh, rdeča nit kabareta pa bo antimilitarizem.

DIY Cabaret: Feminism Is No Joke! is a series of cabarets that opens up a space where performers create without the censorship and restrictions of classic stages – where the ‘ugly’ is beautiful, the non-normative desirable and the ‘unattractive’ attractive. Content, desires and pleasure are in the foreground, mistakes are not only allowed, but even desired. Within the cabaret series, we examine topics related to gender and sexual orientation, which are often ignored or suppressed in society. At the same time, we strive to create a safe space for all participants. The 20th anniversary edition will be very special: you can expect a large selection of group acts, live music, female artists in the air and on the ground. The underlying theme of the cabaret will be anti-militarism.
