Vabljeni na predstavitev in diskusijo o zasedbi sedeža največjega svetovnega ladjarja Maersk. Dogodek bo potekal v četrtek, 6. 11., ob 18. uri, v Pekarni Magdalenske mreže.

Med 21. in 26. februarjem 2025 je v Kopenhagnu potekal protestni tabor Cut Ties with Genocide. V sklopu tabora se je odvila velika direktna akcija proti največjemu ladjarju na svetu, ki Izraelu dostavlja orožje. Okrog 1000 protestnikov je 24. februarja zasedlo sedež podjetja Maersk in zahtevalo, da konča z omogočanjem genocida nad Palestinci.

V pogovoru s tovarišem, ki se je akcije udeležil, bomo govorili o poteku akcije in uporabljenih taktikah. Zanimalo nas bo kako je akcija vplivala na javni diskurz in povezovanje različnih aktivistov. Prevpraševali bomo pomen direktne akcije danes in njenega mesta v nedavnem organiziranju.

You are invited to a presentation and discussion on the occupation of the headquarters of Maersk, the world's largest shipping company. Event will be held on Thursday, 6. 11., at 6pm, in Pekarna Magdalenske mreže.

Between February 21 and 26, 2025, a protest camp called Cut Ties with Genocide took place in Copenhagen. As part of the camp, a large direct action was carried out against the world's largest shipping company, which supplies weapons to Israel. On February 24, around 1000 protesters occupied the headquarters of Maersk and demanded that it stop enabling the genocide of Palestinians.

In conversation with a comrade who participated in the action, we will talk about the course of the action and the tactics used. We will be interested in how the action impacted public narrative and the galvanizing of various activists. We will question the position of direct action today and its place in recent organizing.
